Test against South Africa
The first Test against South Africa could not see the whole
match, which was a good thing. I pretend to be a cricket lover but to see this
match, I inspired my nationalism.
When our team is losing, I can not stand watching cricket
matches. Especially in such a time when our team is not weak as it used to be
historically. I remember the time when our support for this was much more than
the performance of our national team. Now the situation is not there.
For the moment on the fourth day of the match, it was felt
that we would win but the batsmen missed the wicket because of the ball
jumping. By the way, bowlers of South Africa bowl the ball is not unusual, but
why did our wicket fall on this ball? Now if the second test match has started,
then we should look at some aspects of our team. The most important aspect is
that our team is still running on the basis of batting.
If we take names of our great cricketers, then Gavaskar,
Tendulkar and Kohli can be kept in this list. Likewise, Pakistani Imran, Wasim
and Waqar will be among great cricketers. Great bowlers are rare in comparison
to great batsmen.
This fact becomes clear when we prepare a list of all-time
great teams of cricket playing nations. I would like to keep my point in the
realm of the Indian subcontinent. If you imagine Pakistan's ideal cricket team,
then Hanif Mohammad, Saeed Anwar, Zaheer Abbas, Javed Miandad, Inzamam-ul-Haq,
Younis Khan, Rashid Latif, Imran Khan, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Shoaib
Akhtar will also be the best players. On the other hand, Gavaskar, Sehwag,
Kohli, Tendulkar, Dravid, Ganguly, Dhoni, Kapil Dev, Kumble, Srinath and Zaheer
for India's team.
Which of these teams is more balanced and more powerful (at
least as accurate as the paperwork)? Certainly not our team, it's not The difference
between the two teams is that our bowling is weak. I do not want to present any
long-term theories in this regard. But a lot of hard bowlers have some lumps in
comparison to the batsmen in India. There is also a second aspect here. Since
we have become a batting nation, we lose wickets only while the batsman is
expected to protect the wicket.
For a website called 'Crick Info', in 2009, Rajesh had a
statistical analysis, which proves how weak our wickets are. 40 percent of the
matches played in India remain in the draw. While only 7 percent of South
Africa matches are drawn. Another country where India has a history of playing
a struggling match is Australia and that country also has only 11 percent match
draws.
Very high score in India is no exception. In the first test
match against South Africa, the two sides had scored a score of 200-200 runs in
the first innings. This is such a thing that is never the first in the Indian
subcontinent. There is almost no chance of showing such results after the bowlers
and this is the reason that the pitches we lost in our first match were called
pitches because they offered a chance to bowl well before the bowlers. Does.
